Pexco Improves Safety on the 6th most Dangerous Road in the World

Tacoma, WA (October, 2011) – Traffic safety is a serious concern on the Dalton Highway, a 414-mile road in Alaska, one of the most remote, and the 6th most dangerous highway in the world. Traffic: Flexible X-Last Bollards

Flexible and Strong Bollards with Maximum Durability

X-Last Flexible Bollard Overview
X-Last Flexible Bollard Installation Procedures

These "tough as nails" bollards fully comply with the function of preventing vehicles from entering prohibited zones. With their extreme flexibility, they are virtually impossible to break. Even once they are hit and knocked down, they return to their full, original upright form. They cannot be broken or dented, and will never rust!

Perceived barrier to entry, impression of steel, but with hidden secrets
X-Last bollards are highly rigid and strong. No human can budge them. Cars can hit them, but they will not bend or break. However, when emergency vehicles need to gain access, they can pass over them easily. There is no need to remove them first or replace them after. The flexibility and “memory” of the polyurethane material, returns the bollard to a full upright position!

Maintenance of the X-Last bollard compared to steel bollards is a breeze!
Steel bollards need continual maintenance. They are easily dented and damaged and when hit hard enough, can dislodge. They need frequent painting and can rust in the elements.

X-Last bollards are virtually maintenance free! They return to a full upright position after being struck. They are solid color throughout and never need painting or refinishing. And because they are plastic, they are impervious to the corrosive effects of salt.
