Pexco Appoints Industry Veteran to Executive Vice President of Sales
Joe Joyner brings proven industry experience to leading plastics design and fabrication company
ATLANTA (August 17, 2011) – Pexco, a leader in the design and fabrication of standard and custom extruded plastic products, has named Joseph (Joe) Joyner as Executive Vice President of Sales. Joyner will report to CEO Neil Shillingford and be responsible for managing and fostering performance improvement initiatives within Pexco as well as expanding the company’s custom plastics industry reach and market presence. The appointment was announced by CEO Neil Shillingford.
Joyner brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and manufacturing operations to Pexco, a company that has acquired three companies during the last four months.

Previously, Joyner was the executive vice president and general manager of EFP Corporation, a foam packaging manufacturer where he restructured the organization, implemented Lean Manufacturing and redirected the selling focus on profitable growth markets. Prior to EFP Corporation, Joyner served as vice president of sales and marketing for Chicago-based Wilbert Plastic Services, North America’s largest custom heavy-gauge thermoformer and injection molding company with sales of a $240 million. He also held the position of North American director tor of sales for Nypro, Inc., a $900 million global full service injection molding solution provider headquartered in Clinton, MA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance from the University of Alabama.
