TACOMA, WA (August 22, 2019) - Pexco LLC was proud to host 22 business leaders for an International Trade Roundtable with Congressman Denny Heck at their factory in Tacoma, WA, on Wednesday, August 21st.

Participants in the roundtable included Congressman Heck, Chris Eyler, Executive Director, US Chamber of Commerce, Peter Speer and Theresa Wissing of Pexco, and several other leaders from large businesses around the South Puget Sound Region.

The primary topic of discussion was renewal of the US Export-Import Bank, whose authorization expires in a mere 40 days. Conversations ranged from the prospects for a major Infrastructure bill during the current administration to reauthorization of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act, the proposed United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA), severe labor shortages, US Immigration policies, and the administration's tariffs and monetary policy.

Congressman Heck is a staunch supporter of the Export-Import Bank. He received appreciation for his efforts from everyone in the room.
