The Processes
Plastic Turning
We have developed our turning capabilities for precision machined components. Our CNC lathe equipment can process various components from micro-turning to 12 inches in diameter. Equipped with milling heads and sub-spindles, our lathes can produce many components with quality and efficient cycle times.
Plastic Milling
At Pexco, we have 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling for plastic machining that produces components with a high degree of consistency with close tolerances that can have an optical-quality grade surface finish if desired. Complex components can be machined and inspected by importing files from most CAD systems to our CAM system.
Annealing of Plastics
Our annealing, or stress-relieving, process allows us to create highly consistent material qualities by relieving internal stresses and eliminating potential cracks or surface damage.
Plastic Polishing
Pexco offers vapor polishing to provide the desired appearance on the component.
