A DIP Tube is attached to a spray or pump dispenser, which is located at the top of a plastic bottle, jar or container.
The DIP Tube is used to transport the fluid up from inside the bottle through the pump or spray dispenser.
Fluid DIP Tubes are typically produced from Polyethylene (LDPE, MDPE or HDPE) or Polypropylene (PP) thermoplastic materials. FDA grades of these plastic materials are also available.
DIP Tube Applications
- Industrial Products (Cleansers, detergents, soaps, solvents, lawn & garden care, automotive products, pesticides, etc)
- Hygiene Products (Mouthwash, skin-care, hair-care, make-up, perfume, toothpaste, etc)
- Food Products (Cheese, jelly, spreads, oils, dressings, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, etc)
- Pharmaceutical Products (Ointments, topical medications, antiseptics, Sun protection, etc)
Just walk through any major supermarket or home center store and you will see hundreds if not thousands of bottles and containers, that utilize DIP-Tubes, filled with various consumer products.
