About Pexco
Polysulfone Tubing, Rod & Profiles
Polysulfone (PSU) has one of the highest service temperatures among all melt-processable thermoplastics.
Its resistance to high temperatures gives it a role of a flame retardant, without compromising its strength, which often results from the addition of separate flame retardants. However, Polysulfone has low resistance to some solvents and undergoes weathering; this weathering instability can be offset by adding other materials into the polymer. Pexco is an expert manufacturer of PSU rod, tube, and profiles.
Polysulfone Tubing (PSU or PSF) is extruded using a strong, rigid, high performance thermoplastic with properties that remain stable over a wide temperature range from approximately minus 150° F to over 300° F. PSU plastic has excellent electrical and chemical resistant properties, which enable it to satisfy many high-heat, high-performance demands. Additionally, it is approved for food contact and potable water.

Pexco manufactures Polysulfone (PSU) tubes rods, and profiles that are used in a variety of filtration markets, to include food and beverage, life sciences, and membrane systems.
Technical Specifications
Our production facilities are capable of extruding smooth, clean Polysulfone tubes, made primarily from UDEL® Polysulfone, within the following parameters.
PSU Tubes
Diameters from 1/8″ to 8″; Wall thickness from .015″ to heavy wall.
PSU Rods
Outer diameters from 1/4″ to 3″.
