WARNING: The public agencies with jurisdiction and control over local roads, including but not limited to governments, municipalities, their departments, affiliates, contractors, subcontractors, or agents (“Local Road Owners”), are responsible for the design, placement, operation, maintenance, and uniformity of any and all traffic control devices per FHWA Standard 1D.02. Accordingly, Local Road Owners must routinely evaluate and maintain or replace worn traffic control devices. This traffic control device is tested to industry standard tolerances, is fit for its intended purpose, and in no way creates an unsafe condition for pedestrians. All traffic control devices have a finite life and it is the sole responsibility of the Local Road Owners to conduct periodic visual inspections of installed traffic control devices, and repair or replace them whenever necessary. Pexco, LLC disavows any and all responsibility and liability for alleged incidents arising from Local Road Owners’ failure to inspect and maintain or replace worn traffic control devices.
