What is a fence slat?
A fence slat is a vertical strip that inserts through the diamonds of a chain link fence to block the view through it. You’ll also see them called privacy slats, chain link fence inserts, or vinyl or plastic fence slats — all the same product. Pexco manufactures them under the PDS® brand in a range of privacy levels from approximately 75% to 95%.
Are Pexco fence slats made in the USA?
Yes. Pexco produces PDS fence products in its own manufacturing facilities on both the East and West Coasts of the United States.
What colors do Pexco fence slats come in?
Nine standard colors: black, white, gray, beige, brown, redwood, green, royal blue and light blue. The same palette runs across Top Lock, Bottom Lock, Feather Lock®, Winged Slat®, FinLink®, LiteLink®, Fin2000® and Industrial Pre-Woven slats, and across Fence Weave®. Special colors are available on request with minimum order quantities. Printed color is difficult to reproduce accurately — ask for actual color samples before you match to an existing fence.
Where do I buy Pexco fence slats?
Two ways. PDS commercial slats are sold through most fence distributors and wholesalers in North America — use the distributor search on this page. PVT® retail slats are available through Lowe’s and other retail home center stores throughout the U.S.
