HS-205 PVC

Cross-linked (irradiated) PVC delivers all the benefits of standard PVC heat shrink tubing, with enhanced abrasion resistance and superior solder iron cut-through protection. It also provides excellent dielectric and mechanical performance, making it well suited for rugged heat shrink applications and for use with cross-linked PVC jacketed wire and cable.

  • Applications with cross-linked PVC wire and cable
  • Insulation and strain relief of wire harnesses, wire splices, and terminals
  • Soldering applications – tubing won’t shrink back or melt
  • Applications that require ripple-free conformance around sharp bends
  • Applications requiring outstanding dielectric and mechanical protection without damage to enclosed or adjacent components
  • Protecting products – outdoors and indoors – from UV light, fading, harsh chemicals, chlorinated cleansers, moisture, fungus, dirt and abrasion
