Food-Grade Heat Shrinkable Tubing
Pexco’s USFDA-compliant food-grade heat shrink tubing is manufactured from proprietary high-performance polymers that meet the most stringent FDA Food & Beverage safety criteria. Insultab’s food-grade tubing is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and resists a wide range of chemicals and oils, moisture, fungus and UV light.

Applications
- Covering wires and components in catheters, pacemakers and implantable devices to provide electrical insulation and biocompatibility
- Securing and protecting tubing connections in infusion pumps, syringes, or peristaltic pumps
- Encasing wires, sensors, or optical fibers in bioreactors, analyzers or test instruments they require sterilizable components
- Providing a protective, sterile barrier for electrodes used in ECG, EEG, EKG or other biomedical sensors
- Slip-resistant, chemical-resistant and sterile insulation for minimally invasive surgical tools
- Encasing flexible wearable medical devices that contact skin or tissue
