The PDS® Top Lock fence slat provides a simple, economical and attractive way to enhance a chain link fence.

Fence Top Lock Products Frequently Asked Questions
What heights does Top Lock come in, and how long should the slats be?
Top Lock is stocked in 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12-foot heights, with special heights available on request. Slats are cut 2″ shorter than the overall height of the fence — so a 6-foot fence takes 70″ slats.
What colors does Top Lock come in?
Nine standard colors: black, white, gray, beige, brown, redwood, green, royal blue and light blue. Special colors are available on request with minimum order quantities. Printed color is difficult to reproduce accurately, so ask for actual color samples if you’re matching an existing fence.
Will Top Lock fit my fence?
Top Lock is made in three widths to suit different chain link. The 2″ version fits 2″ mesh in 8, 9 or 11 gauge and gives 82 slats per bag. The 2¼″ version fits 2¼″ or 2⅜″ mesh in 11½ or 12½ gauge and gives 78 slats per bag. The 1¾″ version fits 1¾″ mesh in 8, 9 or 11 gauge and gives 100 slats per bag. Every bag covers 10 linear feet of fence and includes 10 feet of flexible top-locking channel.
What is Top Lock made of, and how long is the warranty?
Top Lock is extruded from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with color pigments and ultraviolet (UV) inhibitors, specifically designed to retard the harmful effects of the sun and lengthen the life of the product. It’s made in the USA and carries a 25-year, pro-rata warranty against breakage under normal conditions.
